I am trying to test sending a page through a SNPP-object.
Our snpp-experts have the following questions:
- how can I add the SNPP-command "COVE 1" or "COVE 2" to select the coverage area?
- is the SNPP-command "LEVE" (level, to set the priority) implemented?

Hello Paul,

At this moment these commands are not supported. We can add this functionality to a next release. Is there a provider where we can use to test this ?

Hello Leon,

Answer from our SNPP-expert:

"I have no idea which provider supports the COVErage and LEVEl commands. You might just try it by using a telnet connection to various providers and see what happens if you enter one of these commands. It should be no problem to implement these commands as they are specified in detail in RFC 1861 (see sections 4.5.3. and 4.5.5 - both commands take a single numeric argument).
Our implementation of an internal SNPP server uses the LOGIn command (section 4.5.1) to login, the COVErage command to select the network (1 = SMS, 2 = Dutch Pager Network) and the LEVEl command to select the delivery priority of the message."

Hi Paul,

Thanks for this info, i will try with some providers (I only know some providers in the US. It seems SNPP is only used there).

I will keep you informed,
