Wavecom Fastrack 1306 Error

I have followed advice found in your web site to try to get this modem to work.

I have configured the com port to 9600, 8n1, hardware flow control in device manager.
I have setup a Standard 9600 Modem in control panel.
I have configured Network Monitor to use Standard 9600bps Modem, but when I test it, I get the following error:
Result: Message Failed
Error Code: 30201
Error Description: Cannot find specified devicename
SMSLog shows:
[11:01:59] OPEN DEVICE [SMS and Pager Toolkit Build 4.1.7.0914], device=[Standard 9600 bps Modem], baudrate=[default], settings=[default], result=[ERROR 30201 : Cannot find specified devicename]

I have also tried all above at 19200 etc, but to same result.

I have tested with terminal program and can successfully send commands manually to send a sms message.

I also have IPSentry on the same machine, and it is able to successfully send sms via TAPI device Standard 9600 bps modem.

Any help would be appreciated, I cannot migrate completely until I can resolve this issue.

Hello Phil,

This is very strange, it can be caused by the fact that you installed the service with the local machine account.

You can also try to use "COMxx" instead of using the TAPI device name, both methods should work fine.
