Whats the difference between Pager object and dial up object

How do I use the Pager object? The documentation and the sample code shows that it connects to a pager directly?? Can you please elaborate how this is achieved?

Also, I did not find any property on the pager object for the actual message payload to be sent.

Thanks.

Hi,

The difference between these two objects is the following:

The dialup uses a provider to send the message. This is done by connecting to a TAP or UCP provider by means of a dialup connection using a analog or GSM modem.

When you use the pager object, only a number is called to activate the pager. This is for use with tone-only pagers only.
