Error Create Connection String MySQL

Hi..

I have problem when change to MySQL Database, my specific system:

MySQL Connector ODBC 3.5.24.msi
MySQL Server Community 5.0.

where try to convert to MySQL DB database successully created
but when try to Test Connection i get error messages:

Incompatible database version or not enoug to read/write to database:

i have been root user to access database.

how to solve this?

AFAIK, there's no relationship between ActiveXperts and MySql,
it's sound the problem is with your programming language?
have you using the last version of dataset component?
what's is your programming language?

I have use Borland Delphi 2006 For win32, btw this error occurred at installation SMS Server not on programming stage.
