Hello to you,
I have a few questions about the latest version of this software.
The previous version displayed carriage return and line feed (chr(13) & chr(10)) as two boxes in the message body and successfully transmitted them to cell phones.
This version displays two dots in place of them and DOES NOT send them to the phones.
The underlying access table is correctly formatted, yet these important characters are not transmitted.
Is this something that can be modified either by a system configuration or by a “bug-fix”?
Properly formatting the data for the phone is a large part of what my software does and this problem nullifies it.
Please advise.
The smpp channel configuration in this version has corrected the issue of not allowing sub 60 sec keep alive settings however, this version does not correctly store and retrieve the protocol version; it works on initial load and is corrupt if reloaded.
I have written code that acts upon received messages and processes them outside of any scripts and notice a delay between receiving the record and having it released to me. Is there a registry setting or program modification possible to free these records from any script consideration at all?
Thank you in advance for your time in this matter.
Please do educate me as you can about the carriage return and line feed issue as I must revert back to an earlier version if there is no recourse here.

Hi,
We are aware of this problem. In the next version of the Messaging Server we will create an option for this to enable or disable this filter.
Hope this helps,
